Living Things Animoto Movie

I created this animoto movie to teach first graders about what living things need. We are studying this in science right now so I thought it would be a neat way to reinforce the concept. I have never used Animoto before this and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy to use and efficient it was. I could definitely see myself using this in the classroom for a variety of subject areas as well as for school events such as open house and conferences.

The two images I edited using Picnik are the picture of the food, and the picture of the yellow plants at the end. To edit the food picture I resized it, used autofix and sharpened it. To fix the plant picture I resized it, used autofix and used the color fix.

    Nice job on your project. I love the photos you chose for your presentation. The photos of food and space to live were especially vivid. You have organized your photos in an effective way. The music you chose set a nice, light mood. The text on your photos was helpful. I hope your first graders enjoy your project!!!

    Loved your movie Meagon! The music choice was excellent. The pics were amazing and the text went very well and was very well timed with the movie. I would like your permission to show it to my 1st graders. may I?
